The Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids (HBAGGR) recently donated $33,000 to area non profits as a thank you for volunteering their time to help staff homes during the Spring Parade of Homes.
Each year the HBAGGR works with non profits so staff the Parade Homes. This spring 50 Grand Rapids non profits staffed 65 new homes and 3 remodeled homes. Since 1986 the HBAGGR has donated over $2.5 million to area non profits.
“Our non-profit volunteers are an essential part of the continued success of the Parade of Homes” said Emily Siebert, HBAGGR Executive Director. “They’re a critical part in the event, offering a smiling face to each visitor right when they walk in the door! It’s a great honor for us to get to work with these individuals and contribute back to the community year after year through the Parade of Homes.”
