Building a Stronger Community Through Housing and Industry Support
The Home Builders Association Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with special housing needs to support the development of the next generation of housing industry professionals. Since 1988, as a 501(c)(3), the Foundation has worked closely with industry leaders, community partners, and nonprofits to ensure a brighter future for all.
How Do We Do it?
Support Other Non-profits
Like Home Repair Services and Disability Advocates with monetary and volunteer time to construct more than 650 access ramps and other critical home repairs.
The Next Generation
Oversee the Next Generation/Workforce Development Committee and partners with local education and community partners to attract, train and retain talent for the residential construction industry.
Provide Scholarships
We offer scholarships to students entering the construction industry, helping them access the education and training needed for successful careers. These opportunities ensure a strong future workforce.
Award Monetary Grants
We provide grants to nonprofits serving vulnerable communities, including Habitat for Humanity of Kent County and Bethany Christian Services YouthBuild. We’ve awarded over $250,000 to support housing-related initiatives.
